TERMS OF SERVICE
LAST UPDATED: 05/09/26
Welcome, this is my official Terms of Service. Before doing business with me, it is extremely important you read through this TOS. By purchasing from me, you are automatically agreeing to this TOS and any breaks of this will result in a permanent blacklist. If you do not agree with anything listed here, do not do business with me.
THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Here is everything you need to know about how I handle commissions.
What I Offer
I offer a simple, sketchy cartoon style most catered to stylized anthros/furries, ferals, and other little creatures. I pride myself in having a very quick TAT- I've been drawing for over 14 years and have grown quite accustomed to drawing efficiently, which has always been a goal of mine to get better at. I do "skeb"-like commissions, meaning I will not send WIPs during the process, but I am open to minor revisions afterwards. I do not offer complex shading, detailed rendering, semi-realism/realism, or draw overly complicated scenes, characters, or styles. Those just aren't my thing- I focus more on simplicity and having more of a fun, almost "doodly" style that's flexible for a wide assortment of different cartoon character designs. As such, I may simplify parts of your character in order for it to translate properly into my style if your character isn't already a cartoon focused design. Before commissioning me, please take the time to look through my available examples (I have a lot!) so you can guage if my style is of your interest! Bear in mind some examples can be very old (but ones I'm still proud of). Please do not commission me if you are expecting results that I do not offer. If there is something specific you are envisioning, please tell me up front in detail and I will let you know if I can fulfill that request. If you are seeking out cutesy, simple sketchy cartoon art with a very fast, same day (often same hour) commission, I'm your woulge!
Contact:
You can contact me from any of the social medias I have listed on my personal Carrd. You will not find me anywhere else listed! You can also reach me on Discord if you know me from there. You'll get the quickest response if you reach me on either Discord or Toyhouse.
Payment:
Payment is always made up front unless otherwise stated. I only accept PayPal (with trusted friends I can accept Zelle). My pricing is always in USD- please keep this in mind if you are in a country outside of the United States; you will need to calculate the appropriate conversion! Commissions must always be paid in full before I begin. Please refer to my refunds section about my refund policy.
Completion Time:
I pride myself in having a very quick turn around time- after I receive payment, expect your drawing within several hours. The exact time frame will vary depending on how complex the drawing is (a reference sheet will obviously take longer than a fullbody sketch, for example); I will always let you know upfront/ahead of time before payment how long the commission will take. I will never take on commissions if I feel it will take me longer than a day or I will get delayed.
Queue:
How my queue functions is a bit unique: to uphold my fast turnaround time without getting burnt out, I only take one slot at a time. A slot is filled when payment is sent, and I only ever accept payment when I'm fully ready to sit down then and there to work on and complete the commission! If there is more than one client interested in commissioning, they are all put onto a waitlist until I feel ready to get to them one by one.
WIPs:
Due to my fast TAT, I do not send WIPs. However, you are more than welcome to ask for tweaks after I send you the drawing! Do note however, that major revisions may incur extra fees (which is explained more below).
Edits:
You are free to ask for edits to be made to your commission once you receive it. Any minor adjustments and design mistakes are free of charge. However, major alterations- ones that change most of the drawing- will have an extra fee attached. Editing the art yourself is not permitted unless I explicitly say otherwise. Don't be afraid to let me know I missed something in your character's design while drawing; I understand the importance of design accuracy and I am more than willing to fix any mistakes I've made!
Misc:
I suffer from real life struggles with my health which can abruptly limit my ability to do things. Please keep in mind I cannot ever anticipate how I will feel at a given time; if I need to refund your commission for whatever reason, please respect that and please remain patient with me. My upmost priority is my health and wellbeing, and I will not tolerate distasteful behavior from clients.
REFUNDS
This is all information about my refund policy.
Commissioned Art:
Generally speaking, I do not accept refund requests- I only hand out refunds on my own accord. This is due to my fast TAT- you pay, and in just a few hours (sometimes even within the same hour) you'll have your drawing. Be absolutely certain when commissioning that you can afford it, because I will not refund you if you end up in a less than satisfactory financial situation. However, I will hand out refunds if I feel I cannot complete the commission for whatever reason. The amount of the refund you receive will depend on how much progress I have made on the piece. For example, if I completed 25% of the commission, you will receive a 75% refund plus the unfinished artwork. I hold every right to not disclose why I am issuing a refund.
Designs/Characters:
I do not ever accept refunds on characters, ever. This includes refunds of characters obtained via art/character trades. Once you pay and I send you the character, your purchase is set. I do not accept payment plans on any of my designs or characters, nor do I allow mixed offers of USD + artwork, unless you are a trusted friend. This is to ensure a fair non-refund policy on my designs/characters. Please be completely certain you want to buy the design from me, as I will not refund you if you change your mind afterwards. Back-charging my PayPal account to get yourself an unauthorized refund is a break of my TOS and will land you on my blacklist permanently.
ARTWORK USAGE
These are your rights as a commissioner over what you can do with the art I make for you.
Commissioned Art:
You are permitted to use your commission for anything non-commercial, with credit. This includes profile pictures, banners, etc. If you are found to be using my art to make a profit (NFTs, merch, etc), you will be permanently blacklisted.
Designs:
You are permitted to use your design you bought from me for anything non-commercial as long as it is not offensive or discriminatory. You may redesign them, put them in any story, resell/trade/gift them, etc as long as you give me credit for the original creation of the design. Be sure to also follow the specific rules of the design if it is from a Closed Species or something similar. Bear in mind, that if I find that my designs are being used to promote and/or glorify foul and hateful content, you will be permanently blacklisted.
BLACKLIST
This is everything you need to know about my blacklist.
How it Works:
As an artist, I am in my right to own a blacklist of individuals I do not wish to commission me or own my designs. My blacklist is purely for business-related purposes. This list includes people who have broken my TOS, caused me grief, both, or are in close relation to people who are already blacklisted. My blacklist is private, but may be shared with close friends of mine. As a blacklisted user, you would not be allowed to interact with me, own my designs (or future designs, if you already own some), or commission me. You would be blocked on Discord, Toyhouse, or any other place we have interacted. My Toyhouse blocks are always IP blocks, so if you share an IP address with someone I have blacklisted, you won't be able to see my account while using that IP. Sorry!
Time Frame:
All blacklist entries are privately listed as "permanent" or "appealable". Permanent entries are self explanatory- they are there forever. Appealable entries, however, can be rescinded if the blacklisted user shows that they are deserving of it. Blacklisted users that have the ability to appeal would be communicated this- if you are blacklisted and I did not state you could appeal, then your entry is permanent. Please do not reach out to try and discuss your blacklist if I did not communicate with you beforehand that you could.
The List:
As of 2024 I am moving forward with keeping my blacklist entirely private, save for my close friends and partner, who are directly involved in my life. I believe it is best for all parties that user blacklists remain privately kept so as to prevent harassment and witch hunting.
Doing Business with Me:
The sole purpose of my blacklist is to bar certain people who broke my TOS, etc to no longer commission or buy designs from me. Very simply put, if it involves a money transaction, they are no longer allowed to conduct that with me. My blacklist also exists to make it explicitly clear that I do not want these people interacting near me, even more so than people I simply have blocked.
Owning my Designs:
Individuals on my blacklist are no longer permitted to own any character that was created by me. Any designs they own previously before being blacklisted will be considered "grandfathered" (I will not revoke the designs from them). However, if they were to trade/sell/gift them away, they are not allowed to own them ever again. If you currently own any design I have made, and you are aware of who is on my blacklist, you are not permitted to trade, sell, or gift them to anyone on my list. If I find out that you did, you too will be added to my blacklist.
Art Usage:
Anyone who is on my blacklist are still able to use any art I have made for them prior to being blacklisted, such as commissions, art trades, or gift art, so long as it's used non-commercially.
Individuals on my DNI:
Generally speaking, I treat my DNI/"will block" similar to my blacklist. I highly prefer that anyone who aligns with my DNI (minus the age DNIs) to not own any of my designs, though I don't actively regulate it as that would cause me too much stress. However, I absolutely disallow people who fall under my Strict DNI (aka your typical across-the-board DNI criteria) to commission me/directly do business with me; if I find that the commissioner/buyer falls under it, I will issue a refund immediately if applicable, and blacklist, as this is a breach of my terms. Along with that, I have the right to decline any sale if I feel a person makes me uncomfortable for whatever reason.
Blacklist Etiquette:
I expect that everyone follows blacklist etiquette. If you were blacklisted, please be respectful and move on, and don't stir up drama because of it. I have every right to set my boundaries with you, and I ensure that privacy of all parties remains upheld. My blacklist is purely for business purposes and is never meant to be "call outs" or to flame others. For everyone else, please do not go out of your way to harass or witch hunt anyone on my blacklist if you know who they are. I do NOT condone harassment and any of that sort towards these users will land you right on the blacklist, too. Please be kind.
MISC. TERMS
Here you can find information about all my other terms, some of which are not necessarily commission related.
My Copyright:
I hold full copyright over all of my creative works. This includes my art, the characters in my possession, my stories, and all other creative mediums I produce. You are NOT allowed under any circumstance to use my characters, designs, stories, artwork, concepts, etc for your own means, including but not limited to- claiming it as your own, recreating and/or redistributing it (tracing/referencing, using it for AI training and/or NFTs, attempting to sell my work you do not legally hold ownership over), or using it for other personal/commercial purposes such as faceclaims, kin/alter claims, profile deco, merch, etc. A person can ONLY use my work if they rightfully own the character design/artwork, such as in the case of commissioning me or buying an adopt from me. However, I still always hold copyright over the artwork itself. TL;DR don't copy, trace, reference, or steal any of my creative works!
Commissioned Art as Examples:
I have the right to use any commissioned art as examples to showcase my work, which means publicly posting it to places. If for whatever reason you do not want the potential of me publicly sharing your commission to others, you have to tell me in advance before purchasing so I can decide whether that is a decision I want to agree upon. Please note I have the right to decline such a request, and ultimately decline the commission.
Commercial Rights:
At this time, I do not make artwork for commercial use. This means that under no circumstance are you allowed to use my work for commercial means, even if you commissioned/bought it from me. All of my commissioned/purchased work is for personal use only. This applies to both art pieces and character designs.
